The only physical difference was the sump and the dipstick tube which again were swapped. All of the bare engines are identical so long as you use the correct base engine which in my case was a DV6C. The second hand engine ended up being half the price of the code matching one. Hope that helps. Expand.

Allan J. New here. I realise lots of posts with similar issues to what I have so apologies trying to get some clarity as I couldnt see any real definitive fix. I have a Focus 1.6TDCI Zetec 2009 that looses power after about 20 mins of driving - so I am deducing rightly or wrongly the problem occurs when car gets warm.

My first thought was the injectors but it is more of a ticking or tapping noise than chuffing, and also it only happens when accelarating at low revs. Nothing at idle or revving without driving and the injector seats look dry. It disappears when the revs get above about 1800.
