The Sims is in need of serious competition, deleting posts talking about competition is a bit ridiculous. So instead here's a video showcasing just how badly no competition has effected the series. These animations may be minor, but add soo much. Hopefully competition for The Sims 5 can remedy this.

Stardew Valley is one of my favorites. It isn’t the same at all but its $20 and under depending on where you buy. I’ve always felt that there’s much more to do, especially for the most recent free dlclike update. The sims team/maxis/ea is very lucky there aren’t any other simulation games (yet)
